Jon is Studio Manager at Surface_Hull. Jon originally gained a BA hons degree in Museum and Exhibition Design at the University of Lincolnshire, School of Architecture and the Built Environment.
After a period teaching Spatial Design and working in a range of design roles, Jon concentrated on a career in the built environment. He has held several architectural support positions in the public and private sector. This has included a wide range of commercial, education, public and community benefit projects across the Yorkshire region and further afield.
Previous to working for Surface, Jon worked as a consultant in the Urban Renaissance team at Yorkshire Forward. Currently he is also Coordinator of the Humber Design Review Panel for Arc, the architecture centre for the Humber region.
