Joanne studied architecture at Nottingham University where she was awarded the Best Final Presentation award at Exhibit 10. Her final project features on www.slamshed.co.uk and explores the relationship between technology, landscape and the object; focusing on the preservation of heritage and its poetic dialogue.
Prior to Surface Joanne worked at Frederick Gibberd Partnership where she worked on public sector projects ranging from defence to education.
